The 9th International Youth Research Paper Competition 2025 aims to encourage and validate active, self-directed research activities among teenagers. Through this competition, participants will demonstrate the essential qualities and potential of future researchers.

- ■ Sponsored by: HOBY Foundation, Green Environment Practice Headquarters

■ Eligibility: Youth in Korea and abroad
- - Students from 7th grade to 12th grade as of November 17, 2025
- - Or homeschooled students, GED candidates, etc., of equivalent grade levels
- ■ Participant Unit: Individual / Team (No limit on team size; members can be of different genders, grades, ages, or schools)
- ■ Entry Fee: Free

- Awards Ceremony: There will be no separate ceremony; certificates will be sent individually.

- 2nd Prize – Award by HOBY Korea(2 persons/teams)
- 3rd Prize – Award by President of Education Association for Software Empowerment (5 persons/teams)
- Special Award – Award by President of Green Environment Practice Headquarters (10 persons/teams)
Benefits
- ■ All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation (electronic).
- ■ All winners: Opportunity to be published in "Research Competence" (excluding papers already published, scheduled for publication, or under review elsewhere). Volume 1, Issue 1 scheduled for publication on December 29.
Paper Submission
- ■ Research Paper Topic & Field: No restrictions
- ■ Language: English
- ■ Submissions to other competitions or journals (past or planned) are also eligible for submission.
- ■ Submission Limit: Only one paper may be submitted per participant, regardless of whether it is an individual or team submission. (e.g., Submitting one paper as an individual and another as part of a team is not allowed).
