‘The U.S. and China Rivalry and Our Future’라는 주제로 열리는 이번 컨퍼런스는 아이비리그 현직 교수를 포함한 국내외 석학들을 모시고 다양한 분야에서 벌어지고 있는 미중간의 패권 경쟁이 우리 국가와 청소년 세대에 미치는 영향을 심도 있게 이해하고, 우리 청소년들에게 이런 도전에 대비하여 어떠한 전략과 역량을 갖춰야 하는지에 대한 통찰력을 키워 미래를 주도하는 대한민국의 리더로서의 역할을 모색하는 기회를 제공해주기 위함을 목적으로, 오프라인 (in-person)으로 개최됩니다.

국제관계와 외교정책은 경제, 과학기술, 사회, 환경/기후변화 대응, 군사, 문화/역사, 의료, 국제협력, 법 등 다양한 분야와 상호작용하며 영향을 미칩니다. 이번 컨퍼런스의 강연 주제 중 하나인 'The very long history of emerging AI competition (새롭게 떠오른 AI 경쟁의 오랜 역사)'와 같이 정치나 국제관계에 관심 있는 청소년들뿐만 아니라 경제학, 사회학, 행정학 등 사회과학 및 이공계 진로 희망 학생들에게도 자신의 역량을 키울 수 있는 좋은 기회가 될 것입니다.

Conference Day 1 (December 9)	Discussion on the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election, the Direction of U.S.-China Power Competition, and the Future of S. Korea (with Associate Professor, Department of Government, Cornell University) (2hrs): Professor's introduction on foreign policy and the topic  Individual presentation Q&A and discussion Professor's introduction and guide on making foreign policy proposal for S. Korea	To attend Lecture 1 to learn about qualitive research related to the conference topic. To take lecture 2 through 5 to select your extended research essay topic.
